Quantity Surveyor - Pretoria at Hire Resolve

Responsibilities:

• Prepare cost estimates and budgets for construction projects
• Control costs throughout the project, ensuring they are kept within budget
• Prepare bills of quantities and tender documents
• Negotiate and agree on final accounts with contractors
• Evaluate subcontractor applications for payment
• Provide advice on contractual matters
• Monitor and report on project progress and costs

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Quantity Surveying or a related field
• Minimum of 5 years of experience as a Quantity Surveyor
• Knowledge of construction methods and materials
• Strong analytical and numerical skills
• Excellent communication and negotiation skills
• Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines
• Proficiency in computer software such as Excel, AutoCAD, and MS Office
• Professional registration with a relevant body is preferred
