Receiving and Dispach Supervisor at AVI Limited

• An exciting opportunity exists for a RECEIVING AND DISPATCH SUPERVISOR at I&J, Trawling Division to be based in Waterfront, Cape Town.                

Reporting Structure:

Reports to: Shore Operations Manager
Direct Reports: 2
Key Areas of Impact:

• Manage the receiving and dispatch process and physical sorting of stock.
• Ensure constant updates on the SAP system.
• Manage the receiving and dispatch clerks.
• Arrange with PSS for resources to do the sorting based on the vessel landings.
• Sign off the Excel recons between the blind tally / CTF / SAP and submit them to the Data Controller – Resources at the CTF unit.
• Reconcile PSS invoices to SAP and submit for approval.
• Instruct PSS to collect the samples to be submitted to National Regulator for Compulsory Specifications (NRCS)
• Sign off and approve damages that need to be reworked.
• Manage stock and site and reconcile to SAP once the vessel is fully dispatched.

What It Takes to Succeed:

Experience that set you up for success:                       

• 5 years supervisory experience in a production and distribution environment
• Previous experience working on SAP ERP is preferred

Qualifications & Certifications that will contribute to your success:

• Matric / Grade 12
• Cold Storage, Warehousing or Distribution industry related qualification would be advantageous

Additional Requirements that will enhance your impact for success:

• Valid Forklift License required
