DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES OF THE JOB

• Receive ordered stock from vendor and/or third party
• Check stock delivered against waybill (quantity and or quality)
• Report deviances or breakages on waybill/ delivery notes according to internal procedure
• Confirm stock received by stamping and signing the delivery note
• Check stock delivered against delivery note or invoice
• Receive stock on system according to the delivery note
• Distribute stock to the sales department
• File relevant documents according to rules stipulated
• Reconcile couriers accounts
• Update and maintain BIN locations
• Obtain authorisation number for returns from the vendor
• In case of shortages report to vendor
• Handle creditors queries invoice variances
• Prepare package for pick up
• Complete waybill and shipping documents
• Ensure signing of waybill and shipping documents
• Filing of shipping documents according to rules stipulated

Requirements

• National Senior Certificate
• At least 2 to 3 years retail experience
• Effective communication and relationship-building skills to interact positively with customers, colleagues, and stakeholders.
• Take ownership of tasks, demonstrate reliability, and follow through on commitments to deliver excellent service.
• Thoroughness and accuracy in tasks
• Willingness to acquire new knowledge, skills, and technologies to adapt to evolving job requirements and industry trends.
