Receiving Operator - Pinetown at MAN Automotive (South Africa) (Pty) Ltd

Description

• Physically receive local and international shipments
• Offload cargo and physically stage stock
• Check stock against shipment documentation
• Perform quality checks, report and reject damaged stock
• Move damaged stock to quarantine area
• Record quantities and stock received in ERP system
• Inform Material Planners of over, under and partial deliveries from suppliers
• Log damaged parts in ERP system
• Stage stock to be binned
• Physically move stock on binning trolleys to respective bin locations
• Place staged stock onto binning trolleys
• Confirm GRV quantity to bin locations
• GRV orders in ERP system within 48 hours
• Ensure accuracy of all stock
• Create / maintain bin locations for new parts in the system
• Set quality standards to be met in terms of FPU target
• Achieve 5S standards to ensure that the work area is clean at all times
• Ensure that all applicable TPM is maintained

Requirements

Qualifications:

• Grade: 12 Matric Certificate

Experience:

• Experience in the heavy commercial vehicles industry - 2 years
