    Recruitment and Retention Team Leader - Rustenburg

    Technical Work Responsibilities

    • Apply knowledge and understanding of HIV/AIDS.TB and COVID-19.
    • Liaise with Internal and External Customers/Stakeholders
    • Community engagement, outreach and education
    • Leading the recruitment and retention activities by being pro-active.
    • Data capturing, reporting and recordkeeping of all community outreach activities
    • Tracking of recruitment targets and retention rates
    • Monitoring and evaluation
    • Resource planning
    • Task driven
    • Human capital management
    • Undertake other duties as assigned

    Requirements

    Education

    • Bachelor’s Degree from four-year college or University
    • Grade 12 Education or Equivalent for RRTL without a degree
    • Valid GCP Certificate
    • GPP training and application
    • Fluent in local languages
    • Facilitation and good communication skills
    • Report writing
    • HIV Counselling and Testing

    Advantageous

    • HIV/TB training
    • Knowledgeable on Human Behaviour Theories and Community Practice
    • Clinical Research experience and GCP
    • Familiar with the local community and norms

    Experience

    • Minimum of 3 years’ experience in similar role
    • Public Sector experience in HIV counselling and testing, prevention, care and treatment
    • Experience in HIV/TB and COVID-19 prevention, treatment and care
    • Knowledge of participant recruitment and retention strategies
    • Experience in working with community stakeholders
    • Experience in community education, outreach and engagement

    Requirements

    • Valid Driver’s Licence
    • Professional Driver’s Permit, or willing to apply for one
    • Intermediate computer skills, including electronic mail, routine database activity, word processing, spread sheet, graphics (MS Word, Excel, Windows-based programmes)
    • Research methodology
    • Proficient personal computer skills
    • SA Citizen or valid work permit to work in South Africa
    • Own car
    • Minimal/Moderate/Excessive overnight travel (up to 30%) by land or air if required
    • Willing to work overtime
