The role of the Regional Demand Planners is to prepare Regional Demand forecasts and to maintain a constant relationship with Site & Service Sales, Professional Services, and Order Handling to understand the demand forecasting drivers. In addition, the role is required to support the Product Group Demand Planner in order to finalize the central and global demand forecast for each Product group.
Your responsibilities:
Develop and produce effective monthly forecast reports, across all product group in the regional scope, as part of the global Sales, Inventory & Operations Planning (SI&OP) process.
Optimize demand planning flow in region. Monitor and eliminate inefficiencies in forecasting process and systems.
Monitor and report on important changes in sales forecasts, budgets, and newly acquired install bases.
Propose and implement solutions to improve demand forecast accuracy.
Maintains a constant relationship with regional site & service sales, professional services, and order handling to understand demand forecasting drivers for the regional scope.
Supports the product group demand planner, finalizing the central and global demand forecast for each product group.
Promotes a culture of personal and team safety, including others who may be affected by the company’s operational activities
What you bring:
Matric and a relevant business-related, commercial or supply chain management qualification.
Minimum 3-5 years of experience in supply chain, demand planning or supply planning
Understanding of demand planning practices such as forecast accuracy and forecast bias
Good understanding of IFRS principals related to project accounting.
Knowledge of the Accpac or Oracle ERP system is required.
Advanced computer skills in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel).
A structured and organized self-starter.
The ability to communicate at varying levels of an organization effectively.
Ensures policies, practices and procedures are understood and followed by stakeholders.
Driving continuous improvement of all processes.
Rapid and thorough independent decision making and creative problem-solving skills.
