Regional Manager at EarthStream

The role reports into the Regional Director: Africa. This is a position suited for a commercially astute Technical Sales Leader who is a dynamic, ambitious self-starter with a passion for customer service. As the Regional Manager: Sub Saharan Africa you wil be ultimately responsible for the overall growth strategy, sales and profitability of the Southern and Central African regions targeting the Mining Industry and other Industrial markets.

The successful candidate will have the following responsibilities:

• Identify opportunities to establish new operations within the assigned region
• Accountable for the profitability of all operations
• Identify talent pool specific to the drive and control industry
• Overall management responsibility for all operations within the assigned region
• Develop and implement strategic focus areas to grow the business
• Actively identify and appoint new distributors  

The successful candidate will have the following attributes:

• A management qualification or equivalent management experience, Mechanical Engineering would be advantageous
• At least 5 years’ management experience in a similar position in hydraulic or related industries
• Strong technical sales and business development background
• Experience in the management of assets, budgets, expenses and profitability
• Exposure of sales via distributors
• Strong network across the Mining Industry in Africa will be advantageous
• Willing to travel extensively
