Regional Manager – Readymix at Afrimat

Minimum Qualification / Experience / Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Business Management, or related field (preferred).
• Minimum 10 years’ experience in a similar role.
• Valid Driver’s Licence (Code B).
• Medically fit in terms of OSH Act.
• Proven experience in a senior operational role within the construction materials industry
• Strong leadership and people management skills.
• Excellent understanding of Readymix operations, logistics, and safety standards.
• Financial acumen and experience managing budgets and KPIs.
• Ability to work under pressure and make data-driven decisions.
• Valid driver’s license and willingness to travel within the region.
• Must have the ability to work under pressure and be deadline driven

Duties and Responsibilities (not limited not):

• Ensuring Lead and manage multiple Readymix plants across the region to ensure optimal performancewith all the requirements of the Mine Health and Safety Act
• Drive safety, quality, and environmental compliance across all sites
• Develop and implement regional business strategies aligned with national goals
• Manage budgets, forecasts, and cost controls to ensure profitability
• Build strong relationships with customers, suppliers, and internal stakeholders
• Lead, mentor, and develop production controllers and operational teams
• Monitor market trends and identify growth opportunities
