Main Focus Areas

• To be responsible for the total nursing care of the patients in their care.​

Key Performance Areas: (include but are not limited to)

• Ensure that health care is provided to all patients according to company policies, procedures and standards.​
• To plan, organise, and ensure the control of all activities within the position’s framework, and ensure that staff adhere to the company’s policies, procedures, and standards.​
• Ensure that all relevant documentation is administered according to standard operational procedures.​
• Ensure that skills development plans are in place for staff and that continuous training is provided according to need.​
• Ensure that all quality standards and control measures are known and that it is adhered to.​
• To contribute actively to teamwork and ensure the efficiency of the team continuously.​
• To be able to work in a fast-paced environment.​

Post Requirements: (include but are not limited to)

• Must have a general nursing diploma or degree.​
• Must be registered with SANC.​
• The candidate must be willing to work shifts in accordance with the requirements of the Unit.​
