BChD or BDs qualification. Current and valid registration with the HPCSA as a dentist in the category independent practice, with a minimum two years experience post community service.
CMSA or equivalent primaries in Anatomical pathology, Physiology and Anatomy. Completed a postgraduate diploma in forensic Odontology or MSs in Oral Pathology. The following will serve as an added advantage, at least one year of experience in teaching and learning.
Duties :
The candidate is expected to enroll in a 5 year MChD program in Oral and Maxillofacial Pathology at the University of Pretoria. This program includes a 2 year rotation in Anatomical Pathology.
Additionally, the candidate will receive training in Forensic Odontology, which involves performing autopsies. During the period the candidate will also be required to teach students and conduct research.
