Release Train Engineer at Ovations Technologies

• We are seeking a Release Train Engineer (RTE) to lead the delivery our clients Microsoft (MS) Foundry Initiative, a strategic multi-workstream program establishing an enterprise-wide AI Azure platform.

Key Responsibilities

• ART Orchestration: Facilitate PI Planning sessions and maintain the ART cadence (Syncs, Demos, Retrospectives) to ensure cross-team alignment.
• Integrated Delivery Management: Manage complex dependencies and risks across technical (Azure Landing Zone), strategic (AI CoE), and operational (Use Cases) workstreams.
• Governance & Security: Embed "governance-before-scale" principles into delivery workflows, ensuring compliance with Responsible AI, data privacy, and security baselines.
• Partner Coordination: Collaborate closely with Microsoft and internal stakeholders to align delivery plans, address capability gaps, and integrate vendor support models.
• CoE Operationalisation: Support the setup of the AI Centre of Excellence, defining operating models and federated delivery processes across business units.
• Reporting & Visibility: Utilize agile tooling (Azure DevOps/Jira Align) to provide executive-ready dashboards on progress, blockers, and program health.

Minimum Requirements

• Agile Leadership: Proven experience as an RTE in a SAFe or scaled agile environment, with a track record of running high-pressure initiatives.
• Technical Domain Knowledge: Solid working knowledge of Azure Cloud architecture (Networking, Entra ID, IaC) and Azure AI Services (OpenAI, Machine Learning).
• AI/Foundry Familiarity: Familiarity with Microsoft Foundry components (Control Plane, Model Router, Agent Service) and AI risk controls is highly advantageous.
• Stakeholder Management: Exceptional servant leadership skills with experience managing cross-functional teams (IT, Risk, Business, and external partners).
• Governance Expertise: Strong understanding of governance frameworks, including Responsible AI and audit-readiness in a regulated banking environment.
