Renewal Consultant at TWK Agri

 Responsibilities and Duties 

• Manage and renew insurance policies for existing clients, ensuring continued satisfaction and coverage
• Review and assess renewal applications, ensuring that all information is accurate and up to date
• Provide expert underwriting advice and support to clients, guiding them through the renewal process
• Work closely with internal teams to ensure efficient policy administration and resolution of queries
• Maintain accurate records and documentation of renewals and underwriting decisions
• Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, ensuring high levels of service and customer retention
• Identify opportunities for cross-selling and upselling additional insurance products where applicable.
• Ensure the retention of policies throughout the renewal cycle
• Work closely with brokers and insurers to support policy retention efforts

Qualifications and Skills 

• Matric
• Minimum of 2 years of experience in underwriting, with 5 years being ideal
• Relevant qualifications in underwriting or insurance (advantageous)
• Proficiency in MS Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook) is essential
• In-depth knowledge of underwriting principles, processes, and insurance policies
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills to engage with clients and internal stakeholders
• Excellent organisational skills and attention to detail
• Ability to work independently and meet deadlines
