Repair Centre Technician at Cepheid

Your Mission Will Be

• To ensure customer satisfaction through on time receipt of goods and decontamination, effective troubleshooting, repair, and maintenance of GeneXpert Modules and GX Instruments while meticulously following SOP’s.

You Will Be Responsible For

• Efficient delivery of Repair Centre technical processes
• Effectively use SAP - ERP system for spares consumption after modules and instruments are repaired/refurbished.
• Consistently demonstrate compliance and adherence to company and department specific SOP’s
• Successfully achieve individual performance objectives in line with departmental goals and actively participate in initiatives to drive continuous improvement
• Maintain accurate spares inventory of spares in spares location and assist with cycle counts.
• Perform the refurbishment/repair of GeneXpert modules. (Failure investigation up to and including calibration)
• Perform the refurbishment of GeneXpert computers as per Cepheid SOP/work instructions.
• Perform the refurbishment and conversion of GeneXpert instruments as per Cepheid SOP/work instructions.

Required Skills
We are looking for candidates with the following skills and experience:

• Degree/diploma in electronics or engineering OR equivalent experience with 2+ years’ experience in medical device repair center/workshop.
• A+ Certification (computer software and hardware support) OR relevant experience.

Competency in the following computer applications and software:

1. Windows 10
2. Windows 7
3. Hard Drive imaging software (eg. Ghost)
4. MS Office
5. CRM
6. SFDC
7. SAP (RMA, cycle counts, transfer of goods)
