Duties And Responsibilities

• Ensure that seed from plant breeders lists are packed procedurally and properly marked.
• Accurately checking seed list, allocating variety numbers and controlling randomizations.
• Planning of trial layout according to the guidelines from the breeder and draw up a plan.
• Packing trials according to existing protocols.
• Ensure timeous planting and harvesting.
• Monitoring of weeds and insect infestation and co-ordinate control measures with breeders and co-workers.
• Accurate capturing of data according to schedule.
• Accurately packing trials and preparing various spreader combinations.

Location: Potchefstroom, Hoogekraal

Qualifications

Qualifications

• National Diploma in Agriculture plus 3 years experience agricultural research environment; OR B. Agric or B. Agric with 2 years experience in agricultural research environment.
• Knowledge of Agriculture, Grain crop protection, computer literacy, verbal and written communication skills.
• Must be able o work under pressure and in a diverse team environment.
