Brief Description        

• The School invites applications for the position of Research Coordinator. The position is a two (2) year fixed-period contract appointment with a possibility of renewal subject to funding and performance.

Requirements:

• The incumbent, who will work closely with the Chair and will have a good understanding of the wider health sector and health economics landscape in the country, the region and globally, will be expected to: • Conduct scoping, systematic and other literature reviews
• Conduct advanced statistical and econometric analysis
• Assist with the writing of research reports, briefs and journal papers 
• Assist with the writing of research proposals and funding applications 
• Coordinate and manage research projects •
• Enroll for and complete a PhD qualification (if not in possession of a PhD degree Minimum qualifications: Coursework Master’s degree in Economics. Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• A specialization in Health Economics and some experience in health economics research will be considered advantageous.
• Previous experience in conducting scoping and systematic reviews and practical fieldwork experience in data collection will also be added advantages.
• A PhD in Health Economics is desirable.
