To drive sales and to manage aspects relating to the store, specifically stock, cash, and meeting the needs of customers.
Responsibilities:
Receive, unpack and arrange new shipments from supplier
Arrange and label goods in the display shelves
Restock depleted or low shop items and ensure that the sales floor is organized according to established guidelines
Perform end-of-day cleaning duties, which includes wiping down windows, mirrors and fixtures as well as sweeping and mopping the shop floor •Coordinate fulfillment of customer orders to staff; maintains inventory database when orders are fulfilled
Process customer payments at the checkout point / till using the shop’s point of sale system
Ensure excellent customer service
Assist in opening and closing the store according to the centre’s opening and closing times including weekends.
Requirements
Grade 12 certificate
3 years’ sales administration / retail experience is desired
Must be able to work weekends
Excellent communication, problem solving & time management skills.
