    Retails Store Supervisor

    Description

    • To drive sales and to manage all aspects relating to the store, specifically stock, cash, staff supervision, and meeting the needs of customers.

    Responsibilities:

    • Keep the shop as well as the products presentable, neat, clean and tidy at all times
    • Manage stock & payments
    • Receive, unpack and arrange new shipments from supplier
    • Arrange and label goods in the display shelves
    • Restock depleted or low shop items and ensure that the sales floor is organized
    • Perform end-of-day cleaning duties, which includes wiping down windows, mirrors and fixtures as well as sweeping and mopping the shop floor •Coordinate the receipt and verification of incoming stock, ensure that products are unloaded, stored and verified
    • Be vigilant to identify security risks, shoplifting and payment or identity fraud
    • Address customer complaints and inquiries
    • Maintain an in-depth knowledge of store items to provide advice and recommendations as needed
    • Ensure that staff are trained, supervised and motivated
    • Ensure adequate staffing of the store to fulfill operational requirements
    • Schedule store staff and determine appropriate break schedules
    • Coordinate fulfillment of customer orders to staff; maintains inventory database when orders are fulfilled
    • Process customer payments at the checkout point / till using the shop’s point of sale system
    • Open and close the store according to the centre’s opening and closing times including weekends.

    Requirements

    • Grade 12 Certificate
    • At least 3 -5 years experience in all facets of retail operations, customer service, inventory control and ordering, and supervision of retail sales staff
    • Computer literacy and familiarity with POS systems
    • At least 3 years related experience as a Store Supervisor
    • Excellent communication, problem solving & time management skills.

    Retail Sales Assistant

    Description

    Product Development Scientist

    Description

    • To develop innovative new products (for in-house brands and third parties) according to innovation document briefs and to improve existing products and manufacturing processes through reformulation and procedure evaluations.

    Responsibilities:

    • Develop innovative new products according to briefs from the Marketing department and third party clients
    • Perform the necessary calculations, propose concept formulations and submit for Marketing approval, adapt as required
    • Prepare and submit trial batch documentation, schedule trials through planning department, liaise with production HOD’-s and perform trials •Compile technical reports and transfer information to the Production, Marketing, RA and QA departments
    • Compile stability testing protocol and submit trial samples to laboratory for testing
    • Evaluate test results and action appropriately •Load manufacturing template on MES
    • Assist the manager to identify and implement projects for continuous improvement
    • To maintain a high standard of quality and housekeeping
    • Develop new products for Nautilus Pharma clients.

    Requirements

    • BSc Honors, BPharm, B.Eng or equivalent
    • MSc qualification would be advantageous
    • Previous development and project management experience is essential
    • 2 to 5  years’ experience in product formulation is desired 
    • Knowledge of cGMP/ISO/HACCP would be beneficial
    • Experience of stability testing, food and medicine acts and validation principles would be beneficial.
