Ride-On Sweeper Machine Operator at Phakisa Group

Minimum Requirements

• Minimum Grade 10
• Valid Ride-On Sweeper Machine Operator Certificate or Training Record
• Previous experience operating ride-on sweeper machines will be advantageous
• Medically fit and physically capable of performing cleaning operations
• Knowledge of workplace health and safety requirements
• Ability to work independently and within a team environment

Key Responsibilities

• Operate ride-on sweeper machines safely and efficiently
• Clean and maintain designated work areas, roads, yards, and industrial facilities
• Conduct daily pre-use and post-use equipment inspections
• Report equipment faults, breakdowns, or safety concerns
• Ensure compliance with site safety standards and operating procedures
• Maintain housekeeping standards and keep equipment clean and serviceable
• Complete required operational and inspection records accurately
