Risk Officer at Bidvest Tank Terminals

Minimum Requirements

• Risk Management/Safety Management or equivalent Degree/Diploma is required
• Minimum of 3 years proven experience in Risk Management or related field
• Professional Risk Management certification is a plus
• Experience in the chemical/petro chemical industry would be advantageous
• Good understanding of SHEQ systems (ISO 45001, ISO 14001 & ISO9001)
• Experience in Bulk Gas Storage Facility/Terminal Operations would be advantageous
• Isometrix experience or other equivalent GRC systems will be advantageous

Duties and Responsibilities

• Ensure that all Risk Registers are reviewed periodically and up to date
• Facilitate or lead the Risk Assessments as and when required
• Develop and review the Health and Safety Risk Register for Head Office
• Lead the incident investigations for Head Office
• Develop and implement policies and contingency plans
• Lead the execution of the Emergency response Plan
• Participate in the safety inspections and ensure findings are adequately addressed
• Lead/facilitate the risk assessments for logged changes
• Participate in audits
• Ensure compliance to the change management process
