Safety Manager ORM & Systems at Anglo American

Job Description
Are you driven and looking to make a difference. Have extensive knowledge and experience in safety and risk management of which 3 years in a Senior Management position within safety and risk management with in-depth knowledge on Safety & Health Management Systems. Have a mining industry background.
A solid understanding and knowledge of relevant mining legislation including Mine Health and Safety Act, Occupational Diseases in Mines and Works Act and other relevant legislation.
Have solid knowledge of using risk assessment techniques such as Bowtie XP and interface of various systems, HAZOP and other industry techniques and tools.
Have a solid knowledge and understanding of:

• S&SD global Standards including ISO14001 and OHSAS18001
• Mining Operations and processes, especially the S&SD components of this
• ORM and its application within the Operating Model
• S&SD Management Systems, specifically Enablon
   

Qualifications

• Degree in Safety Management or related field
• Valid South African Driver's license
• Good written, verbal and presentation skills
• Report writing skills essential
• Advanced working knowledge on ENABLON
• SAP

• Management Leadership skills
• Internal & External stakeholder management skills
