    Sales Administrator

    We require an experienced Sales Administrator who will be able to own and manage our IT procurement, stock systems and consumer sales. This role provides support to all departments in the business. We are looking for a candidate that has a strong understanding of IT systems and can work with management to implement and maintain processes and standards.

    Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

    Procurement and Sales

    • Take responsibility for all sales related duties:
    • Sales enquiries: provide quotations, product and service information
    • Sales orders: purchase, delivery, installation and payment for products and services
    • Internal sales queries from the sales team, account managers and technical department
    • Identify potential sales leads and escalate them to account managers where appropriate
    • Maintain the internal stock inventory
    • Ensure that our Company sales process is adhered to and properly implemented
    • Educate yourself on the Company’s products and services
    • Complaints: respond in a professional manner or escalate where necessary

    Communication

    • Establish good relations with customers and understand their requirements
    • Manage supplier / distributor relationships and partner relationships
    • Keep accurate records of discussions or correspondence with customers
    • Service all external clients and internal staff in a professional and prompt manner

    Requirements:

    • Experience in the IT space including knowledge of all current IT terminology
    • Knowledge of MS Office (particularly MS Excel)
    • Excellent communications skills preferably in both English and Afrikaans
    • Ability to work independently and take initiative
    • Ability to cope with a pressured environment
    • Ability to work under strict deadlines
    • Attention to detail is essential
    • Hands on experience with Customer Relationship Management (CRM) software
    • Excellent organizational and multitasking skills
    • A team player with high level of dedication

    Please note that additional training and skills development will be required.

    The position is permanent with a probation period of 3 months. The salary will be market related depending on experience.
