    Sales Administrator - Mpumalanga (Witbank)

    Job Description

    Lesaka Merchant Division

    Sales Administrator - Mpumalanga (Witbank)

    • Do you enjoy working with data and turning information into clear, useful insights? Do you love keeping processes organised, spotting the details that matter, and making sure nothing gets missed?
    • Do you get satisfaction from following an issue through to resolution and helping a team stay on track? Do you enjoy supporting a sales team and helping create smooth, efficient day-to-day operations?
    • As a Sales Administrator, you’ll support the Merchant Sales Team through accurate reporting, effective administrative coordination, and reliable operational support. Working closely with the Senior Administrator and Area Sales Manager, you’ll help keep information up to date, priorities visible, and the team organised so they can focus on delivering results.

    Role and Responsibilities

    • As Sales Administrator, you will provide reliable administrative and reporting support to the Merchant sales team.
    • You will manage recurring sales reports and dashboards, maintain accurate records, support device and stock administration, and assist managers with operational requirements.
    • You will work closely with Sales Colleagues, Area Sales Managers, the Senior Administrator, Regional Manager and relevant internal departments to ensure information is accurate, actions are followed up and issues are escalated appropriately.
    • A key part of the role is using available reports to identify devices that have stopped trading, escalating these matters to the appropriate managers and following up with the relevant department to support resolution.
    • The role requires strong attention to detail, good organisation and the ability to manage routine responsibilities alongside ad-hoc requests in a busy sales environment.

    Day in the Life

    • You start your day by reviewing the latest information and reports to identify priorities for the sales team. You prepare or update daily, weekly or monthly reports and convert relevant information into dashboards for Area Sales Managers.
    • You review data relating to devices that have stopped trading and identify matters requiring attention. Where necessary, you escalate these to the appropriate manager and follow up with the relevant department to ensure outstanding issues are addressed.
    • Throughout the day, you support the sales team with administrative requests, update records, assist with device orders and contribute to stock-taking activities. You may also provide administrative support to the Regional Manager or assist with an ad-hoc project that requires additional coordination.
    • The role combines independent work with regular interaction across the sales team. You will need to organise your workload, manage competing priorities and communicate clearly when information, action or escalation is required.
    • The position operates Monday to Friday during standard office hours, with weekend work on a rotational basis when required.

    Who You Are

You are an organised and dependable administrator who enjoys working with information, systems and people. You take ownership of your work, pay attention to detail and are comfortable working independently while contributing to a wider team.

    • Matric / Grade 12.
    • 3–5 years' administrative experience, preferably in a sales or operational environment.
    • Experience working with data, reports and administrative information.
    • Experience using CRM systems; knowledge of CR and Freshdesk is advantageous.
    • Strong computer literacy, including Microsoft Office, with advanced Excel skills preferred.
    • Able to manage multiple priorities while maintaining accuracy and meeting deadlines.
    • Comfortable working independently and collaborating with colleagues and managers.
    • Proactive and willing to take ownership of tasks from start to completion.
    • Open to learning new systems, processes and ways of working.
    • Willing and able to work weekends on a rotational basis when required.

    • Opportunities to work with different stakeholders across the sales function.
