We are seeking a Sales and Costing Administrator to support our sales and project teams by preparing accurate and competitive sales proposals. The ideal candidate will work from Bills of Quantity (BOQs) to calculate selling prices using vendor price lists, factoring in transport and installation costs to ensure accurate project costings. The role requires strong analytical skills, excellent Excel proficiency, and experience with ERP or CRM systems.
Key Responsibilities:
Analyze Site Plans and Bills of Quantity (BOQs) and vendor price lists to determine product costs and selling prices.
Configure, price and quote proposals from raw data and various vendor inputs.
Incorporate transportation and installation costs into final pricing.
Prepare detailed sales proposals for project-based sales.
Ensure pricing accuracy by verifying vendor quotes, cost structures, and margins.
Maintain and update pricing databases within ERP/CRM systems.
Work closely with the sales, procurement, and project teams to finalize costings.
Identify cost-saving opportunities and optimize pricing strategies.
Interpret and analyze financial data to support decision-making.
Meet tight deadlines and work efficiently under pressure.
Requirements:
With experience within the culinary, hospitality, or food-service industry, rather than candidates with general sales and administration experience.
A background in culinary equipment, food production, catering, or a related field would be highly advantageous.
Excellent Microsoft Excel skills (advanced formulas, data analysis, cost calculations).
Strong experience with ERP or CRM systems.
Ability to perform detailed cost calculations and interpret data effectively.
Strong attention to detail and accuracy in pricing and cost analysis.
Ability to work efficiently under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
Diploma in Cost Management Accounting or a related field (advantageous).
Prior experience in sales administration, costing, or project pricing is preferred.
