ENVIRONMENT:
- THE sales wizardry of a highly ambitious Sales Consultant is wanted to join the team of a dynamic ICT Service Provider in Somerset West.
- The ideal candidate will have 1-3 years relevant experience in a similar role and will be commercially focused and proactive, detail-oriented, and confident in managing both relationships and revenue.
- Your success will be measured by retention, revenue contribution, and consistency in execution. You will be responsible for client retention, account growth, and transactional revenue through once-off sales, renewals, upgrades, and project opportunities.
- You will play a critical role in ensuring clients remain satisfied while continuously identifying ways to increase value and strengthen long-term relationships.
DUTIES:
Client Retention and Relationship Management –
Be responsible for maintaining strong, long-term relationships with your client base. This includes:
- Building trust and maintaining regular communication with clients.
- Ensuring high levels of client satisfaction and retention.
- Acting as a reliable point of contact for client queries and support.
- Identifying risks early and resolving issues proactively.
Sales Delivery and Account Growth –
Drive revenue growth through structured sales activity within existing accounts. This includes:
- Identifying and closing once-off sales opportunities.
- Driving SLA upgrades and account expansion opportunities.
- Supporting cross-selling of products, services, and solutions.
- Managing renewals across licensing, security, backups, and related services.
IT Assessments and Project Conversion –
Support the delivery and commercial conversion of technical assessments. This includes:
- Ensuring all scheduled IT assessments are completed.
- Supporting the conversion of assessments into projects.
- Working with internal teams to move opportunities into delivery.
- Maintaining momentum from assessment to commercial outcome.
Sales Administration and CRM Discipline –
Ensure that all sales activity is accurately captured and processed. This includes:
- Maintaining high levels of CRM hygiene in Zoho CRM.
- Preparing and managing quotes, orders, and invoicing accurately.
- Submitting structured weekly scorecards and reporting.
- Ensuring all tasks are completed within defined timelines.
Collaboration and Team Support –
Work closely with internal teams to support account success. This includes:
- Supporting the Lead Account Manager in client reviews and meetings.
- Sharing client feedback with sales and marketing teams.
- Collaborating with technical teams to support client needs.
- Providing support and guidance to junior team members where required.
Supplier and Operational Coordination –
Support commercial outcomes through supplier and operational alignment. This includes:
- Managing supplier relationships and pricing where required.
- Ensuring accurate product and service delivery through coordination.
- Supporting stock tracking and sales-related audits
- Maintaining structured internal processes and documentation.
REQUIREMENTS:
