Key Responsibilities
Pursue sales opportunities and conduct customer visits to achieve targeted sales levels.
Negotiate pricing and delivery terms, and close sales orders to meet revenue and profitability targets.
Assess customer needs and recommend appropriate technical and commercial solutions.
Identify, engage, and develop long-term relationships with prospective customers.
Relay customer feedback, competitor insights, and sales leads to internal stakeholders to support effective market strategies.
Support and collaborate with channel partners by providing product training, sales tools, and technical guidance.
Conduct joint customer visits and participate in marketing activities and pipeline development with channel partners.
What We Expect From You
5–10 years of experience in direct sales, account management and channel partner management in a Mining & Metals technical environment.
Strong negotiation, communication, presentation and sales skills.
Ability to work independently and confidently promote and sell Valmet’s products and services directly and through channel partners.
Willingness to guide and mentor colleagues within your area of expertise.
Ability to extensively travel nationally and be away from home for up to a week.
