    Sales Executive

    The Job

    • We are Team Africa Ventures, We are a venture builder, we co-create the technology businesses of tomorrow alongside other companies and entrepreneurs. We search for defendable niches and either build out opportunities ourselves or partner with other world-leading organisations to ensure success. We measure the result of our efforts not just by the multiples we aim to return, but by the pride we take in what these companies build. We are looking for talented driven sales people to join in these businesses and help scale them to the next level. Your responsibilities include discovering and pursuing new sales prospects, negotiating deals and maintaining customer satisfaction. If you have excellent communication skills and feel comfortable reaching out to potential customers to demonstrate our services and products through email and phone, we’d like to meet you. Ultimately, you’ll help us meet and surpass business expectations and contribute to our company’s rapid and sustainable growth.


    • Achieve a deep understanding of Team Africa Ventures value proposition and market leadership in addition to demonstrating the platform’s benefits and capabilities to win new business
    • Build and maintain strong, long-lasting client relationships
    • Develop new business with existing clients and/or identify areas of improvement to meet sales quotas
    • Establishing timely renewals by owning the commercial relationship end to end, including client growth and strategy, forecasting, negotiation and execution of contracts
    • Work with marketing and other teams to continuously enhance our services
    • Convert our inbound leads by maintaining high engagement and building successful ties with all prospects
    • Actively seek out new sales opportunities through cold calling, networking and social media


    • Proven experience as a Sales Executive or relevant role
    • Proficiency in English
    • Understanding of marketing and negotiating techniques
    • Fast learner with a passion for sales
    • Self-motivated with a results-driven approach
    • Aptitude in delivering attractive presentations
    • You bring problem solving skills with doses of common sense, cheerfulness and stamina to the table. You enjoy team work!
