    Sales Executive

    This position reports to: Sales Manager: Boksburg
    Salary will be offered based on experience.  

    Requirements:

    • Qualification in sales or marketing and or 3 – 5 years credible relevant experience in sales and working with end users and distributors.
    • Proven knowledge of modern management techniques and best practices.
    • Contemporary sales techniques.
    • Computer literate.
    • Experience in the welding and gas industry is essential.
    • Own reliable transport and valid driver’s license.
    • Must be a South African Citizen.

    The successful candidate must have the following attributes and competencies:

    • Results driven and customer focused (Target driven).
    • Good communication skills and fluent in both English and Afrikaans.
    • Excellent organizational skills.
    • People Management.
    • Decision-making.
    • Networking / sales.
    • Ethical.
    • Attention to detail.
    • Punctual/disciplined.

    Duties:

    • Identifies business opportunities by identifying prospects and evaluating their position in the industry; researching and analyzing sales options.
    • Sells welding products to End users by establishing contact and developing relationships with prospects; recommending solutions.
    • Maintains relationships with clients by providing support, information, and guidance; researching and recommending new opportunities; recommending profit and service improvements.
    • Identifies product improvements or new products by remaining current on industry trends, market activities, and competitors.
    • Prepares reports by collecting, analyzing, and summarizing information.
    • Maintains quality service by establishing and enforcing organization standards.
    • Maintains professional and technical knowledge by attending educational workshops; reviewing professional publications; establishing personal networks; benchmarking state-of-the-art practices; participating in professional societies.
    • Contributes to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed.
    • Ensure updated CRM’s and develop sales interventions.
    • Cold calling is essential ( need to open new business on a monthly basis)
