Sales Manager : Labels and Paper Packaging at Novus Holdings Ltd

Job Description    

• Novus Print is currently seeking to appoint a suitably skilled and experienced Sales Manager with sound knowledge of the labels and paper packaging market to join our dynamic team. The successful candidate will utilize their product knowledge , the available technology and production  capacity of various printing operations as well as the value-added services that are on offer, to target and secure new business as well as grow market share within the current client base. The incumbent will be based at Montague Gardens and report to the General Manager. 

Key Duties and Responsibilities    
Responsibilities  include  but not limited to, the following: 

• Drive new business development in the labels and paper packaging sector
• Achieve sales budget for the product categories
• Service and retain existing clients and develop strong business relationships with decision makers and influencers
• Identify market needs and collaborate with R&D and production teams to develop customized label and packaging solutions.
• Negotiate and close deals and oversee the execution of the contracts
• Display an understanding of the sales process and ensure its implementation
• Create and be accountable for all client proposals, presentations , and any other documentation. 
• Providing technical support to the labels and paper packaging team
• Lead sales efforts with a strong focus on technical product development and innovation. 
• Preparing weekly and monthly sales reports

Educational Requirements    

• Degree or diploma in Sales or related tertiary qualification

Experience Requirements    

• At least 5 years' field sales experience
• Previous work experience within the print and packaging industry is essential 
• A valid Driver's license and own reliable vehicle 
• National travel is required 

Skills and Competencies    

• Technical knowledge of paper packaging products, process, and substrates. 
• Proven experience in technical sales within the labels, printing, or paper packaging industry
• Strong focus on delivering results and meeting customer expectations
• Display sound analytical abilities , both verbal and numerical 
• Excellent interpersonal , selling and communication skills 
• Strong business acumen, commercial awareness , and proven new business track record
• Excellent research and planning skills
• Excellent presentation skills, both written and verbal 
• Target driven, tenacious and motivated with a strong customer service orientation and hunger for success
