Sales Manager at Talent Network

QUALIFICATIONS

• Minimum of 4 years of sales experience in an import/export/freight industry
• Matric 
• Must have a network within the import/export/freight industry

RESPONSIBILITIES 

• Develop and Manage the sales plan for the company's general goods export and import 
• Drive and take personal responsibility for new business development and sales opportunities in line with the sales plan 
• Develop customer relationship to the point of responsibly handing over to the relevant team whilst ensuring client mandate is implemented 
• Ensure detailed hand over of client mandate to the relevant internal parties to ensure smooth and effortless implementation 
• Ensure closeout and new business opportunity meeting be held within 3 months of the closure of the deal 
• Collaborate with other internal salespeople to maximize cross-selling and selling opportunities
• To negotiate viable business proposals collaborating with relevant parties in the group Networking during relevant industry meetings/trade shows for the purpose of mining opportunities 
• Cold calling to open doors to business development for all the relevant companies in the import/export/freight industry
• Actively researching new business and sales opportunities National and international travel when required
