Job Description

• Maintain existing customer base and relationships
• Create action plans and drive increased value at allocated customers.
• Responsible for execution of the sales strategy and growth projects
• Consistently look for opportunities to grow portfolio
• Develop new business and customers by promoting product range
• Monthly and annual reporting e.g. forecast and budgets
• Achieve sales targets and forecasts
• Track competitor activity and market movements
• Price negotiations and communication
• Interact between customers, production and purchasing to ensure that orders go out timeously
• Must be prepared to travel

Duties & Responsibilities

Qualifications & Experience

• Matric / Grade 12, preferably with Mathematics and Science
• A degree or diploma in a Commercial or Chemical related field
• Experience in the supply of specialty chemicals and/or commodities would be an advantage
• Must have a minimum of 3 years’ sales experience in sales
• Must have a valid driver’s license
• Must be computer literate in MS office and be competent in PowerPoint
