Sales Representative - Ekurhuleni (East Rand) at Unique Personnel

Introduction:

• Sales Representative that will be based in Johannesburg, travelling to sell readymade and custom-made interior design products such as light fixtures, dustbins, ice buckets, etc. to interior design companies, architects, lodges, restaurants, hospitals, corporate offices, retail stores etc.  Appropriate training will be provided.

Responsibilities/Duties:

• Sales representative reports directly to the MD
• Sales representative needs to be able to operate largely independently
• Sales representative must be able to manage customers from quote to payment cycle.
• Develop sales plan and review weekly with MD.
• Achieve agreed sales target (Agreed with MD)
• Negotiate tender and contract terms and conditions to meet both client and company needs; in collaboration with the MD
• Prepare quotes,if required
• Give timeous and proper feedback to customers on delivery dates etc.
• Remains current in terms of all trends relevant to the industry.

Inherent Requirements    

• Based in Johannesburg
• Minimum 5 years previous work experience as a sales representative, in the interior design, architectural and, or hospitality industry.
• Matric
• Be willing to travel to all provinces in South Africa.
• Must have substantial knowledge and experience in:
• Working with interior designers, architects, lodges, restaurants
• Microsoft Office.
