Job Description

• A growing manufacturing and FMCG-focused organisation is looking for an experienced Sales Representative to develop new business, manage existing customer relationships and drive sales growth within the region.
• The successful candidate will be responsible for identifying new opportunities, maintaining strong customer relationships and achieving monthly sales targets.

Key Responsibilities

• Identify and develop new business opportunities.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with existing customers.
• Promote products and provide customers with product information and quotations.
• Follow up on enquiries, quotations and orders.
• Work towards monthly sales targets and report on sales activity.
• Monitor customer needs, market trends and competitor activity.
• Coordinate with production, warehouse and dispatch teams to support timely deliveries.
• Resolve customer queries and provide a high standard of service.
• Maintain accurate customer records and sales reports.

Requirements

• Grade 12 / Matric is essential.
• Minimum 3 years' sales experience.
• Experience within FMCG, manufacturing or wholesale would be advantageous.
• Strong communication, negotiation and relationship-building skills.
• Proven ability to work independently and achieve sales targets.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office.
• Experience maintaining customer records and sales reports.
• Valid driver's licence.
• Willingness to travel.
