    OVERALL PURPOSE

    Lulalend is a start-up company focused on transforming small business lending through technology, data and design. Small business owners are the foundation for growth in our economy, and they deserve an easy and inspiring lending process.

    We are looking for a highly motivated individual that will work closely with our Credit and Sales functions to develop a comprehensive approach to acquiring customers. Your work will not only encourage small business owners to apply for funding but ensure we attract strong applications to ensure a high conversion to approvals. You will be a driving force in helping Lulalend quickly scale.

    Responsibilities will include:

    • Contacting clients to gather all the necessary information/documentation for the application to proceed to the next phase of the assessment, using outbound calls, Whatsapp and CRM channels

    • Effectively managing the Whatsapp and CRM channels to timeously communicate with clients and attend to all client expectations

    • Analysing applications in the first phase of the assessment and providing recommendations once outstanding documentation has been successfully loaded onto the platform

    • Have a high level understanding of industries trends in order to effectively present the Lulalend product offering to match the clients needs and in turn contribute to the successful conversion of an application

    • Effectively communicate customer needs and insights about their business operation to the wider Sales and Credit teams within the application assessment process

    • Have a high level understanding of the credit assessment process in order to manage the customer expectations about the outcome of the assessment

    • Competent in understanding the end to end journey that a client will have with Lulalend as a new business and then existing client even outside of the scope of your role as a Sales Support Administrator

    • Contribute to the achievement of targets for the business and meeting own individual monthly targets and KPI’s

    • Keep abreast with changes or additions to business documentation required in order to complete the assessment on a business funding application

    • Deliver exceptional service that exceeds customer expectations through a proactive and innovative manner

    • Timeously answering incoming calls with a high standard of professionalism ensuring all calls are handled in a friendly, responsive and efficient manner

    • Providing first line customer support with expert knowledge on product information

    • Timeously following up on client callback requests and escalating customer queries to the relevant departments

    THE SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE WE’RE LOOKING FOR

    • Matric with maths

    • Diploma or certificate in finance (desirable)

    • 2-3 years’ experience within a sales environment, ideally within financial services

    • Excellent communication, negotiation and sales skills

    • Excellent financial and problem solving skills

    • Excellent administrative skills

    • Familiar in working on CRM’s such as (Zendesk, Salesforce, Freshdesk, Zoho, etc)

    • Previous experience in a startup environment (advantageous)

    • Familiar with payment gateways, accounting software, B2B contracts, SARS documentation (desirable)

    • Experience in working with customer and business profiles (advantageous)
