The Sales Support Advisor is an integral role within our offshore based sales teams. The Sales Support Advisor is responsible for supporting the Qantas Regional Leadership team and local Sales teams by providing guidance, advice and support on all aspects of the Qantas proposition to grow revenue and improve market share with key customers. The Sales Support Advisor utilises exceptional communication skills to provide advise on Qantas product, services, policies and procedures. The Advisor is accountable for processing payments for agents, corporates and partners (as required), managing escalations and problem-solving customer complaints.
Essential Criteria:
Minimum 5 years’ experience in a customer service role
Relevant qualifications in a customer, travel or business-related discipline
Demonstrated ability to work independently and autonomously with sound decision making skills
Demonstrated ability to deliver strong customer service results within a complex business environment
Excellent customer service delivery
Sound analytical skills to escalate as required
Sound understanding of fares and ticketing, public and private tariffs
High level understanding of reporting, CRM and GDS systems
Intermediate knowledge of Microsoft Office (Excel, Powerpoint, Word)
Highly developed communication and influencing skills at both internally and externally
