    Sales Support - Licensing and Renewals Specialist

    About The Role

    This role is based in Cape Town within the Sales Operations team. A Licensing and Renewals Specialist is essentially the primary point of contact for Customers and Partners when it comes to discussing and/or renewing of the Mimecast Service. The role is focused heavily on transactions, retention and revenue.

    To fulfill this role, you must have an inbuilt desire to be efficient, accurate and be at your best multitasking across a range of time sensitive activities. You need to have strong administrative skills and excellent turn-around times. The Sales Operations Team is one of the growing teams across Mimecast, so the successful candidate needs to be someone who can hit the ground running, impress from the start and show ambition to grow both individually and as part of a successful Team.

    As a Licensing and Renewals Specialist you will be responsible for the accuracy of Customer & Partner Renewal Opportunities and Sales Orders at all times within our CRM system. Reporting on progress against defined monthly targets will be required to ensure performances and results are accurately tracked and managed ongoing. This role requires an individual with an ability to handle a diverse range of tasks and a driver to ensure they manage the renewal base of the business efficiently and effectively.

    Responsibilities
    Key Responsibilities:

    • Accuracy of Customer & Partner Renewal Opportunities and Sales Orders at all times within our CRM system
    • Timely processing of Customer & Partner Renewals
    • Ensuring Win-Win Outcomes in Customer & Partner Renewals that might require renegotiation
    • Implementing and managing key business objectives
    • Ensures both systems and processes are optimized and maximised
    • Strong working relationships with Mimecast Finance Team, Go-To-Market Teams, Customers & Partners

    Essential Skills And Experience

    • Within this corporate IT environment, you will be required to have:

    Essential

    • A minimum of two years’ experience working in an Transactional/ Admin/ Finance based CRM Role
    • Tough, reliable character who enjoys challenges and overcoming them
    • Strong clerical and communication skills to provide effective support to the team
    • High attention to detail and accuracy with multitasking a key requirement
    • Self-driven but equally enjoys a Team environment where success is measured on both performances and results
    • Work in a structured and organized fashion to achieve your goals.
    • Work with large amounts of data in a structured manner to gather and execute on information.
    • Good communication skills
    • Must have worked closely with customers and vendors alike

    Desirable

    • Experience with Systems such as Oracle, SAP, Siebel and other CRM systems is preferable
    • Proficient in MS Excel and MS Word
    • Good understanding of Contracts, Purchase Orders and Billings

    Qualifications

    • Transactional Admin Diploma/ or Equivalent e.g. Business management, Finance or Secretarial
