SAP Associate Consultant - Supply Chain at PricewaterhouseCoopers (PwC)

Qualifications / Certifications required:

• Bachelor degree in Industrial Engineering or a related field.

Experience required:

• At least 1 year’s relevant experience
• Strong analytical skills with proficiency in statistical analysis software
• SAP experience (highly advantageous)
• Knowledge of manufacturing / supply chain processes, including machining, assembly, and material handling.
• Familiarity with lean manufacturing principles and continuous improvement methodologies.
• Excellent communication skills and the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
• Detail-oriented with a focus on accuracy and problem-solving.
• Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet deadlines.

Responsibilities of role:

• Process Improvement: Analyse current manufacturing processes and workflows to identify opportunities for improvement in efficiency, cost-effectiveness, and quality.
• Data Analysis: Utilise statistical methods and software tools to collect, analyse, and interpret data related to production output, cycle times, and resource utilisation.
• Lean Manufacturing: Implement lean principles such as 5S, Kaizen, and value stream mapping to eliminate waste and streamline operations.
• Quality Control: Collaborate with quality assurance teams to develop and implement strategies for maintaining high standards of product quality and consistency.
• Project Management: Lead or assist in engineering projects aimed at introducing new processes, technologies, or equipment to enhance manufacturing capabilities.
• Documentation: Create and maintain documentation related to process changes, standard operating procedures (SOPs), and production metrics.
• Safety and Compliance: Ensure that all engineering activities comply with safety regulations and company policies, promoting a culture of safety within the manufacturing environment.
• Cross-functional Collaboration: Work closely with production teams, supply chain management, and other departments to address operational challenges and achieve shared goals.
