SAP HANA/ABAP Developer at Vistex

Description

The SAP HANA Developer will provide technical consulting for implementation of Vistex solutions. The individual will also be responsible for developing customer specific enhancements and writing custom code and executing any tests related to these developments.

Full time/permanent REMOTE working role - Mid to Senior level

Responsibilities:

• Develop and maintain data models using the client’s data modeling strategy utilizing SAP HANA modeling
• ABAP Technical experience with Module Pool Programming and ALV Reporting
• Facilitate modeling sessions and design walk-through reviews with development team members
• Problem solving and troubleshooting code and should have some experience in performance optimization
• Communicate and articulate model designs to peers, customers, and governance teams
• Demonstrate BI (Business Intelligence) Analytical skills in any data warehouse/BI environment (e.g., SAP BW, SQL Server)

Required Experience

• Strong experience in working with SQL databases and HANA objects of AMDP, Store Procedures and CDS views
• Experience in working with HANA Studio programming environment and ABAP programming
• Extensive hands-on experience managing data from multiple data sources like SAP ECC and S/4 HANA
• Exposure to SAP HANA Modeling on SAP ERP Logistics modules of Sales & Distribution, Material Management and Purchasing
• Good understanding of SAP ERP table structures of Sales and Purchasing modules
• Exposure and basic understanding of data provisioning tools like ETL tools and SLT, SRS
• High degree of ‘learning agility’ with the ability to readily consume and apply new information and concepts with developed analytical problem-solving skills
• Good communication skills to articulate and explain data modeling and design
• Strong communication and customer facing skills with ability to work with project teams like Consultants, Solution Architects, and customers

Non Negotiables

• 3+ years experience: core experience in HANA development and related technologies
• 3+ years knowledge or experience in ABAP technologies
