SAP RPA Senior Developer - Midrand at Dis-Chem Pharmacies

Dis-Chem Pharmacies has an opportunity available for a SAP RPA Senior Developer at our Head Office in Midrand. This role will be responsible for managing the design, testing, debugging and deploying RPA automations across the business.

Minimum Requirements…

Essential:

• Grade 12 - Matric or Senior Certificate and 3 Year Diploma or Degree in an IT or related field
• 3 - 5 years relevant experience and knowledge of the various software development life cycles, an advanced knowledge of the Java, Java Script and Python programming language

Advantageous:

• RPA Developer Certification
• UiPath/Automation Anywhere/Blue Prism Certification

Job Specification…

• Drive the design and implementation of RPA solutions using various platforms
• Identify and design business processes for automation
• Set up, test and monitor automated workflows to ensure that business processes function at optimum efficiency without risk of error
• Evaluate robotic process automation requests from stakeholders for technical feasibility and provide accurate development timeframes
• Ensure the RPA team document the manual business process before it is automated and ensure all necessary approvals and authorisations are obtained
• Develop in-house automation programs and scripts to complement the RPA Robots
• Ensure quality automation using Quality Assurance (QA) processes and prevent any potential bugs
• Monitor and maintain automation post-implementation and resolve any potential issues to ensure smooth business operation
• Adhere to generally recognised RPA automation standards at all times
• Support the business teams during the UAT and rollout phases
• Configure enhancements /change requests to already automated processes
• Ensure the team responds to any ad-hoc RPA queries timeously
• Escalate unresolved issues as soon as they arise
• Build relationships and work closely with stakeholders across the Group to be well positioned to identify future opportunities for process improvement and automation solutions
• Work with stakeholders to execute RPA initiatives by analysing and designing process workflows; building, testing, debugging and deploying RPA automations
• Collaborate with various stakeholders to define and deliver business impacting projects
• Keep stakeholders apprised of automation progress and elicit their feedback and input
• Assess and manage the RPA team to continually improve processes and outcomes
• Promote a robust culture of accountability, innovation and performance management across the Team, whilst modelling the company’s values
• Assist in setting objectives for the team and tracking progress
• Manage the team leave, overtime and any other ad-hoc duties
• Assist in facilitating the creation of accountable, full service teams who understand and strive to meet the needs of all stakeholders
