SAP Senior Consultant-Technical (BW/4Hana) at Nedbank

Job Purpose

• To apply  specialisation Under minimal direction within SAP projects and technical expertise that meets customer business needs by interacting with stakeholders to define requirements and priorities.  Performs systems analysis, solution design, develop, supports and maintains SAP system.

Job Responsibilities

• SAP BW4HANA Development in alignment with SAP Recommended Layered Scalable Architecture ++
• Redesign and optimisation of developments scripted in ABAP
• Responsible for extraction from SAP and non-SAP systems, data modelling and reports / dashboards delivery
• Work closely with Project leaders, Business teams SAP functional counterparts to Architect, Design, Develop SAP BW4 HANA Solutions
• Hands on experience in Business Warehouse including Extraction, Modelling, and Query design.
• Experience with BW extractors, Master Data, DSOs, Cubes, Composite Providers, Open Hub Extracts, etc.
• Understanding of SAP BW full life cycle development experience from design through implementation and production support
• Demonstrated ability to build and maintain complex Process Chains
• SAP BI Development exposure using SAP Web Intelligence, SAP Analysis for Excel and Lumira Designer
• Monitoring and supporting of process chains and loads
• Contribute to quality and financial goals by operating within agreed budget and by conforming to the Service Level Agreements
• Investigate and propose enhancements which will result in improved performance
• Delivers to stakeholders with the appropriate level of urgency
• Works under limited supervision of mentor/Senior in supporting the achievement of project/deliverables
• Highlights potential project or solution risks and issues to project management
• Act in a technical integration specialist role across various SAP disciplines
• Actively support other team members on projects as well as SAP internal tasks
• Consult on SAP landscape according to agreed standards and keep up to date on Nedbank strategy and SAP technologies
• Provide input and oversight into testing and implementation of SAP programs

• Add value to Nedbank by identifying and recommending opportunities to enhance processes, systems and policies and support implementation of new processes, policies and systems

Essential Qualifications - NQF Level

• Diploma
• Advanced Diplomas/National 1st Degrees

Preferred Certifications

• Preferred certified in more than one SAP module / SAP certification in BW

Minimum Experience Level

•  8-10 years BW experience plus SAP Functional experience
