Seafreight Import Controller at Toll Group

Job Description

· follow-up orders within origin (Port of Load), including full contact details of the supplier and cargo to POL

· Arrange for picking up of the cargo collection at origin and obtaining booking details.

· Registering of new shipments and Ensuring following all necessary processes with regard to Customs clearance and transport documentation

· Ensuring files are invoiced and documents are sent out to clients prior to them receiving cargo and containers

· Resolving internal and external clients’ complaints

Qualifications

· At least 2 years’ experience as See freight import controller

· Knowledge of EUR1  certificates, VOCs and incoterms

· CW1 knowledge and expertise 

· Matric – 12. Grade education degree

· Must be organized, a team player as well as self-disciplined and must have an  understanding of the Accounting process. (debits vs credits)

· Relevant degree or diploma in Logistics would be advantageous
