    Academic Support Advisor (Johannesburg Campus)

    Job Description

    • SACAP (The South African College of Applied Psychology) is the leading independent provider of accredited Psychology, Counselling, Human Resource Management, Business Management and Social Work qualifications, with all courses grounded in psychology. We have campuses in Cape Town, Durban, Johannesburg, Pretoria and Online.
    • SACAP is looking to permanently employ an Academic Support Advisor for our Johannesburg Campus.
    • The Academic Support Advisor plays a pivotal role in providing a full range of academic support and development services to ensure students are empowered to realize their academic success.
    • This position is responsible for helping students succeed academically by offering guidance on study planning, study and coping strategies and interventions, and academic resources. The role will also connect students’ academic interests with their personal and career ambitions.
    • The Academic Support Advisor is also tasked with monitoring student progress, intervention, and retention of at-risk students.

    QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE:

    • A minimum of an Honours Degree qualification in the discipline of Counselling, Psychology, Coaching, Business Management, Leadership; or at least 5-years’ experience in a cognate field with high academic results
    • Advanced computer literacy skills, including online systems
    • 2 years of full-time experience, preferably within the field of Higher Education.

    • Strong leadership and management skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire others.
    • Excellent communication, interpersonal and conflict resolution skills, with the ability to work effectively with a wide range of stakeholders.
    • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to think strategically and make sound decisions.

    Job Description

    • We have campuses in Cape Town, Durban, Johannesburg, Pretoria and Online.
    • SACAP is seeking an Admissions Officer for our Johannesburg Campus. The Admissions Officer will sell SACAP programmes, grow new SACAP student numbers, find new business and maintain a healthy pipeline for future deals. As well as respond to new and current client base regarding complaints and services.

    QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE:

    • Bachelor’s degree or an advanced diploma
    • 2 years’ experience in higher education

    • Excellent written, verbal and interpersonal skills suitable for working with people at all levels within SACAP and its stakeholders.

    Events and Activation Officer (Head Office)

    Job Description

    • SACAP (The South African College of Applied Psychology) is the leading independent provider of accredited Psychology, Counselling, Human Resource Management, Business Management and Social Work qualifications, with all courses grounded in psychology. We have campuses in Cape Town, Durban, Johannesburg, Pretoria and Online.
    • SACAP is seeking an Events and Activation Officer that will be based at our Head Office.
    • The Events and Activation Officer is responsible for planning, organising, and executing online and on-campus marketing events and activations from start to finish, ensuring they run smoothly, on time and achieve their intended purpose.
    • This role drives student recruitment, engagement, and brand awareness for SACAP College and SACAP Global.

    QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE:

    • Degree/Diploma in marketing, project management, events or similar.
    • 1-2 years’ experience where planning, organization and execution can be demonstrated.
    • Digital and traditional marketing acumen required.

    SKILLS:

    • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, especially English.
    • Knowledge of and proficiency in Microsoft and Google suite
    • Deep understanding of brand corporate identity.
    • Strong time management and multi-tasking.
    • Ability to adapt and make decisions under pressure.
