Responsibilities:
This person must be a good problem solver and decision-maker. They should also have a good ability to recognise and prioritise what content will be relevant and engaging to audiences. Their daily responsibilities will include:
Monitoring search algorithms set by search engines to keep up with changes in the SEO landscape
Developing and integrating content marketing strategies for clients
Using social media to distribute content and encourage external sites to link back to the site of the organisation
Driving targeted and loyal traffic to the website through effective community-building
Employing user experience (UX) and conversion rate optimisation methods to turn visitors into active users
Continually check search terms, rankings and analytics to monitor the performance of websites and make recommendations for improvement
Requirements:
At least 4 years of proven experience in SEO
Excellent communication and writing skills
Adequate knowledge of web design, web development, online marketing, understanding of major marketing channels
A positive, customer-oriented attitude. with great organisational and multitasking skills
