Minimum Requirements

• Grade 12
• 2 years food processing experience
• Good communication skills
• Supervisory skills

Duties and Responsibilities

• Maintain good housekeeping at all times
• Ensure that food safety and quality standards and practices are maintained
• Product specifications – ensuring that the product is packed according to the relevant product specifications
• Follow the food safety requirements as per the job skills training
• Set daily production targets in accordance with the overall production plan
• Monitor and report performance on production targets plan
• Implement corrective actions on any deviations on the plan
• Ensure birds go to Cutups with full evisceration
• Ensure compliance to health and safety
• Record and submit payroll input information
• Monitor work attendance and manage employee leave programme
• Maintain discipline in the section
• Maintain good employee relations
• Ensure effective communication within the section
