Job Description
- A Mining house based in the Gauteng region is looking for an experienced Mine Planner
Duties:
- Responsible for identifying, designing and planning cost effective short- to medium-term optimal mining plans by applying the understanding of the geological and geotechnical characteristics of the mineral resource to enable the achievement of production and mine development objectives
Qualifications/Requirements:
- Grade 12
- BSc Degree in Mining Engineering, Mineral Resource Management or related discipline
- Minimum 2 years' short-term mine planning experience supported by at least 2 years' operational/production experience at mid management level
- Proficient in mine planning packages and reporting tools (Deswik Suite, Syncromine, XPac, etc)
