The Security architect is primarily focused on ensuring that security is maintained and enhanced across Client. Within this role, the candidate will work across a wide variety of technologies and support Client deliveries at all levels, from Enterprise Security Architecture to Product Security implementations.
They will work to embed a culture that drives toward the highest standards in security architecture and solutions engineering whilst ensuring that business requirements are understood and adhered to, and security risks are properly understood and mitigated.
Role Responsibilities
Collaborate to develop the strategies to protect the global Client network from the evolving cyber threats.
Partner with Client Security and Technology teams to development and implement application security standards, patterns and guidelines that support ongoing deliveries and balance risk and business benefit.
Champion initiatives to support a Secure by Design mindset and organization reuse.
Continuously review the design and effectiveness of application security controls and develop a program of continuous improvement to grow local capabilities.
Provide Subject Matter Expertise for key project deliveries, problem resolution and risk management.
Educate, and support Client to understand the changing application security threat landscape
Lead and mentor others to support and enable the business securely.
Support and grow the maturity of application security and architecture through partnerships on Client key deliverables.
What we are looking for :
The ability to build and grow relationships with business and technical stakeholders to advance application security goals
Extensive experience in Application Security complemented by broader experience of other information / cyber security areas
Creative problem solver. With the ability to analyze problems from multiple perspectives, enable all stakeholders’ views to be understood and deliver consensus-based outcomes
CISSP or equivalent security certification or experience.
Experience of Application Security and Application Development.
Experience of Cloud and DevOps practices.
The ability to communicate complex security issues to business stakeholders and others
Strategic thinking that can help matures the organizations security posture and approach
