Security Area Supervisor at Thorburn Security Solutions (Pty) Ltd

Duties & Responsibilities    

• Site Coverage ensure comprehensive coverage of all assigned sites and properties. 
• Site Inspections conduct thorough inspections of security measures at various sites . 
• Site File Inspections review and maintain site files, ensuring all documentation is up to date and compliant with regulations. 
• Client Interaction interact professionally to address concerns, provide updates and maintain strong client relations.
• Compliance with the security industry regulations standards and best practices.
• Forward planning proactively plan security strategies to address potential risk and emerging threats, rostering. 
• Documentation maintain accurate records of site inspections, client interactions and security plans. 
• Communication demonstrate exceptional communication skill in both Afrikaans and English, both written and spoken. 
• Computer literatecy utilize computer systems for report generation, communication and data analysis. 

Skills and Competencies    

• MS Office computer skills - specifically Excel at an intermediate level.
• Excellent public relations & sound communication & reporting ability,
• Security area supervisor experience,
• Energetic and passionately involved in vigilance, leadership acumen,
• 3-4 year’s supervisor experience,
• Knowledge and experience of high level client service delivery,
• High public relations, 
• Key incident handling and reporting (emergency procedures, written reports)
• Panic and response co-ordination,
• Working under pressure, problem solving and taking iniaitive,
• Self-discipline, dealing with complexity (application of staff discipline)
• High level of integrity against bribery and corruption,
• Be client centric (English) and (Afrikaans advantageous)

Qualifications    

• Matric.
• Psira Grade A.
• Valid drivers License and PDP.
• Firearm competency & Dog handler training advantageous
• Clean criminal record
