About the Role

• Assist in the enhancing and maintaining the necessary tools and systems to manage the security posture of the organization. Utilize various security tools, processes, and data feeds to detect and respond to security events. This involves working with tools such as privileged access management (PAM), identity management, our SIEM platform and other security tools. 
• We are seeking a candidate with an interest in cybersecurity and motivation to learn and grow in the field. The candidate should have an understanding of cybersecurity principles and exposure to cloud technologies. Familiarity with coding and the ability to write basic applications in Python is desirable. We are committed to providing training and development opportunities for all team members to help build the skills and experience needed to be successful in this role

Responsibilities

• Implementing approved service requests according to standard procedures.
• Managing information security incidents and problems to agreed service levels.
• Monitoring compliance with information security policies and standards.
• Executing changes in a controlled, organized manner following established change management processes.
• Monitoring KPI’s on a continuous basis to ensure information security controls meet business needs.
• Maintaining  internally developed information security solutions.

Requirements

• BS Engineering/Computer Science OR equivalent experience required
• Desire to excel in the cybersecurity field
• Demonstrate some programming / scripting skills -  Python, Powershell
• Demonstrate foundational knowledge of IT security concepts and process
• Demonstrate problem solving skills
• Some knowledge of security tools used as part of IT infrastructure and networks either in a cloud or datacentre environment
• Demonstrate ability to handle multiple tasks and projects
