The Competencies Required Are

• Firearm Competent – Handgun And Shotgun.
• An Unblemished Valid Drivers License.
• Experience Using Relevant Technology And Equipment (E.G. Cctv).
• Managing Of Personnel Through Fair But Firm Labour Practices.
• Ability To Build Solid Relationships And Foster Trust.

The Successful Candidate Will Be Responsible For The Following Duties

Security

• Be Accountable For The Implementation, Monitoring And Compliance Of The Company’s Security Policies, Systems, Procedures And Standards.
• Work Effectively With Key Stakeholders To Ensure That Physical Security Goals And Objectives Are Embedded Within The Business.
• Ensure That Adequate Security Induction And Training Is Provided, As Required.
• Manage And Assist In Conducting Investigations Of Significant Threats And/Or The Loss Or Misappropriation Of Assets.
• Respond To All Emergency Calls By Taking The Response Lead Role In Incidents, Emergencies, And Crisis Affecting The Region
• Endevour To Source New Business In And Around Worcester

Administrative

• Recruiting, Training And Supporting Managers As Well As Conducting Regular Perfomance Appraisals.
• Manage All Disciplinary Procedures.

The Qualification Required Are

• Grade 12 - Further Education In Security Administration Or Similar Field Will Be An Asset.
• Demonstrate Strong Written And Verbal Communication Skills In English And Afrikaans.
• Clear Criminal Record.
• Compurter Literate – Ms Office / Easy Roster.
• Proven Experience As Security Manager Or Similar Position.
• Excellent Knowledge Of Security Protocols And Procedures.
