Are you an ICT Security Specialist with an affinity for strategic relationship management and an ability to deliver high-level, security-based customer solutions and services, then this might be the position for you. As a sales-oriented Security Specialist for Tarsus Distribution your task will be to provide Resellers with pre- and post-sales support and training for security products and solutions architecture in order to increase sales

Requirements:

• Comptia A+ / Sophos Certified Engineer / Sophos Certified Architect – essential
• Up-to-date Vendor certifications
• Check Point Certified Expert and network certification (e.g. Cisco)- required
• 3+ years’ experience in Security Architecture in a Distribution, Reseller or Vendor environment
• Pre-Sales experience
• Excellent communication skills (able to turn technical jargon into plain language)
• Experience with SMB and Mid-Market clients
   

Work from Home Technical Requirements (if and when applicable): 

• Computer hardware and software will be provided by the company 
• Applicants must supply their own Internet connectivity 
• Applicants are responsible for creating a functional workspace at home 
   

Internet Service Requirements 

• Internet access provided by a fibre provider 
• DSL, satellite and wireless broadband is NOT ideal 
• Minimum upload speed of 5 MBPS 
• Minimum download speed of 10 MBPS
