    Seed Applied Technology (SAT) Product Manager & Technical Specialist

    We’re hiring for Seed Applied Technology (SAT) Product Manager & Technical Specialist role. Learn how you can be our voice in the conversation about the future of agriculture.
    You will lead & deliver the AME SAT Marketing strategy (3rd Party & Pipeline) and support Commercial Units (CUs) in optimised technical & pricing position delivering value to the Customer and Corteva.

    Your Challenge

    • Define and execute the AME SAT strategy by leading value proposition & pricing actions for current and future portfolios to deliver financial results and support CU Marketing Managers
    • Collaborate with Global Application Team on best-practice treatment application to support Production to deliver a quality product and customer satisfaction
    • Support successful application and launches of new products through performance of seed treatment testing.
    • Represent AME in the Center of Seed Applied Technologies (CSAT) Global network.
    • Guide and support Integrated Field Sciences (IFS) and Local Product Concept Teams (LPCT) in developing best in class SAT portfolio.
    • Partner with Seed CU teams in identifying portfolio gaps; Assist and support in closing gaps with 3rd party product offerings and price negotiation.
    • Close interaction with stakeholders across all Corteva platforms (Seed, CP, Digital) to develop a mindset of cross-functional collaboration and embody a unified mindset.

    Strategic
    Key Responsibilities:

    • Design, develop and lead the execution of the SAT AME Marketing strategy & operational deliverables (1-3yr)
    • Support AME Marketing strategy & actions (5yr)
    • Lead, facilitate & coordinate the development of SAT Portfolio value propositions & pricing, including demonstration trials & technical training
    • Lead the AME cross functional team in delivering SAT strategy (IFS, Production, Sales, Demand Planning, Marketing CP & Seed)

    Stakeholder Relationships

    • Represent AME Product concepts and Business opportunities together with the Regional & Global SAT team
    • Develop and nurture industry relationships with key stakeholders to strengthen the business and support long term growth objectives
    • Develop and maintain key customer relationships
    • AME Functional Leads, CU Leads, CU Marketing Managers & LPCT members

    Commercial

    • Support Procurement in optimising SAT 3rd Party cost for internal seed brands
    • Support CUs in implementing key account management plan with strategic customers
    • Monitor Commercial success to ensure alignment with Strategy

    Operational

    • Lead the AME Center for Seed Applied Technology (CSAT) in the performance of testing related applications, seed flow, plantability as well as the trialling of new and emerging seed treatments and application technologies.
    • Provide seed treatment application support to seed production facilities, internally and externally, through utilising CSAT global network.
    • Support IFS with seed treatment application of all seed treatment trial protocols Innovation
    • Take leadership on innovative new ideas surrounding seed treatment investment; acquisition or development initiatives.

    Qualifications

    • Written & verbal Formal Education: B.Sc Agriculture or Equivalent

    Experience

    • 5 years Agricultural (marketing, commercial or technical)
